Meet Yuki & Nina!

Yuki is 9 and has spent her entire life in France
with her French father and Japanese mother. 

Suddenly, she is told that her parents are getting divorced and has no more than a few weeks to move to Japan with her mother, leaving everything behind in Paris, beginning with her best friend, Nina. 

Nina, who lives with her divorced mother, helps Yuki write a letter in the name of the Love Fairy to implore her parents to think twice. 

Finally, running away seems the only solution. 
Their new destination is the forest.

The artist, in her own words

My name is Norma V Toraya and the species of rabbitfish before you is called a "Crankbunny".

I live in NYC and work as an animation director. People hire me to make them commercials, tv intros, music videos, projections, etc. I also work on my own personal films, build mechanical paper puppets, and run a small shop. I've lived in a bunch of different cities. I have a big finearts and film/animation background - yet ironically I have a fear of movie theatres.

My work is a layering of traditional techniques like hand drawn animation, under-the-camera, painting, and pixilation / stop-motion with a digital mishmosh of live-action compositing.

I'm a big fan of instinct. My friends and family all share the same frustration of not being able to get ahold of me - go figure.

Instead, she's more inclined to explore timeless concepts like subtly, curiousity, texture and awkwardness. Paper puppetry has never had someone so zealously dedicated until Paul Palooza started exploring its rare curiosities. A very small quirky world filled with amazing creatures, unusual storylines and enchanted paperie. Puppets have mansions. Dancers are made out of paper. Animals threw massive parties. Giant sea creatures boring people into panic. The universe of paper puppets needed someone like Paul Palooza to expose this wonderful impossibility of very handy craftwork.

Dear Gold Bunny!

One bright spring morning in March, when the ground was covered in a blanket of crisp white snow, one of the LINDT Master Chocolatiers saw a little bunny in his garden.

The Master Chocolatier's young son was mesmerized when he saw the little bunny but began to cry as soon as it disappeared in the bushes.

Deeply touched by how upset his son was, the father suddenly had a great idea: "I should make a bunny like that out of chocolate..."

He made the bunny from the finest LINDT milk chocolate and wrapped it in golden foil. And so, the very first LINDT GOLD BUNNY was born into this world, 57 years ago.
